Private Pilot Certification Course
Whether you are an aspiring airline pilot or just seeking the thrill of flying, everyone's flying career begins here: the Private Pilot certificate.
During your flight training, you will conduct around 25 training flights learning the basics of flying, including cross country flights to the outer islands. Because we have examining authority for the Private Pilot certificate, your final flight, or "checkride", is conducted in-house with our chief instructor--not with the FAA or a designated pilot examiner.
Nationally, the average to complete the private pilot certificate is 75-80 hours. Our students, however, have consistently been achieving their certificates at around 45-50 hours. We attribute this record to our high quality aircraft, excellent flight instruction, and our Cessna Pilot Center part 141 program.
We have instructors that will fly to meet your schedule--early mornings, late afternoons, and of course weekends, so you can complete your training when it's convienent for you.
