Part-141 Instrument Training

IMC

We offer an FAA Approved Part-141 Instrument Rating course.

The program has a number of advantages over Part 61 training:

Cost Savings--Under Part 61, pilots must accrue 50 hours of cross country PIC and 40 hours of hood time to complete the instrument rating. Under Part 141, students need only 35 hours of dual training.

Lower Total Training Time--Under Part 141, it is possible to complete your training in as little as 3-4 weeks.

Increased Training Quality --Part 61 pilots spend the time between their private certificate and instrument rating doing a lot of "flying around." It's easy to get distracted and to pick up bad habits. Under this program, your "formative hours" are spent actively training with a qualified flight instructor at your side. The result of 70 or so unbroken hours of active training...more refined piloting skills.

FAA Certified Training--Under Part 141, the program's structure is mandated. Instructors follow a definite, "approved" course of training. There's no question about what should be covered and how far along you are.
